The one who tastes knows

I like this old Sufi aphorism. It captures the difference between knowledge derived through reason and knowledge gained through direct experience.Today, the saying takes on a slightly different, simplified meaning. It reflects the difference between information and real knowledge. Knowledge that comes through action.Everything — clarity, confidence, outcomes — stems from doing. And doing is hard. Today, many prefer watching, reading, and thinking to taking action. That is what interests me most: action.

  • How do you know what action to take?

  • How do you get motivated to take action?

  • How do you find the time and energy to take action?

Unsurprisingly, the answers can be found only by doing. Here, on this website, I share my insights — something you can test for yourself and, ideally, use to discover your own.Our first product is 100+ ways to boost your mood. It is a weekday newsletter with gratitude tips that help you feel joy, meaning, and confidence, and get into action mode. More are on the way.Stay tuned.
